Religion is an indispensable part of human life. The origin of religion could be trace along with the evolution of human race (the homo sapiens). In ancient period the primitive man practice the religion called something like ANIMISM and now there are uncountable religions in the world. In sanskrit the word religion means Dharma. Before we proceed into the depth let's get understand the meaning of Dharma. We often know that wind's nature is to blows from high pressure to low pressure , water maintains its level same everywhere, nature of animal is animality etc and when it gets translate into odia it reads as ' jala ro dharma samanata (same level) rakhya kariba ' and ' pashu ro dharma pasabikata' etc . Here the term dharma relates to the character, nature i.e Prakriti. and it is proved like Dharma=Prakriti (religion= nature). The above formula is applied on human also then the religion of human must be humanity , isn't it. But here the conflict arises...
