BUDDHAM SARANAM GACCHAMI
DHAMMAM SARANAM GACCHAMI
SANGHAM SARANAM GACCHAMI.............
The life story of the Buddha begun in Lumbini, near the border of Nepal and India about some 2600 years ago, where the man Siddhartha Gautama was born.
Siddhartha was born in a royal family of Shakya dynasty and later was adopted austerity in his rest part of life. Along with the time that common man Siddhartha Gautama was flourished into an complete man Gautama Buddha.
Buddha means the enlightened one. After Siddhartha was attained the completeness ( true knowledge of life) he was started preaching to his disciples and gradually the world got a new religion that is BUDDHISM.
Buddhism as a religion discards the evil practice of casteism, polytheism and strongly opposes the superiority of the Vedas. The core teaching of Buddhism is very important now for Indian people to get united and to live with harmony. The prime motto of Buddhism is,how to get rid from suffering and live with happiness and Buddhism says by practicing the eight folds path anyone can get rids from the sufferings.
" I teach because you and all beings want to have happiness and want to avoid suffering, I teach the way things are." Buddha.
Let's discuss some of his words,
1. Happy is he who overcome all selfishness; happy is he who has attained peace, and happy has found the truth.
2. There is no immortality except in truth. For truth alone abides forever.
3. Be like brothers; one in lot,one in holiness, and one in your zeal for the truth.
4. As a mother, even at risk of her life, protects her son,her only son; so let him who has recognised the truth, cultivate goodwill among all beings without measure.
5 once you started walking on the path of truth , happiness will follow you .
6. Which is most needed is a loving heart to love.
7. The distinctive signs of true religion are goodwill, love, truthfulness, purity, nobility of feeling and kindness.
8. Let a man overcome anger by love, evil by good ,greed by liberality, the lie by truth.
9. He who has attained mastery over himself is indeed a greater conqueror than one who has vanquished a thousand enemies, yet remains slave to his sensory self.
10. Ask a question like Buddha. His entire life was dedicated to others and based on a question," WHY is there so much misery in the world?"
We can learn many more from Buddha's life and yes if we practice the mantras prescribed by Buddha definitely it can brings a miracle in our life.
