As there are alot of positive consequences of meditation but the crucial point is how to do meditation. It is as simple as we write but when it comes to be actual practice it seems difficult.
But here are some tips for getting started with meditation:
🛑Find a quiet, comfortable place to sit. This could be a chair, cushion, or mat. Make sure you are in a position that is comfortable for you, with your back straight and your feet planted firmly on the ground.
🛑Close your eyes and focus on your breath. Take a deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth. As you breathe, try to relax your body and release any tension you may be holding.
🛑Use a mantra or guided meditation. A mantra is a word or phrase that you repeat to yourself as you meditate. Guided meditations are audio recordings that guide you through the process of meditation. Both can be helpful in keeping your mind focused.
🛑 Using and chanting the name of your Ista deva is also proved as beneficial.
🛑Start with a short amount of time. Meditation doesn't need to take hours. Start with just a few minutes a day, and gradually increase the time as you become more comfortable with the practice.
🛑Be patient and consistent. Meditation can take time and practice to master. Don't get discouraged if you find your mind wandering or if you feel like you're not making progress. Just keep coming back to your breath and let go of any judgement.
🛑Incorporate into daily routine. To make meditation a habit, try to do it at the same time every day. This could be first thing in the morning, during lunch, or before bed.
🛑 Understanding the nature of mind and it's demand. Treat the mind like a friend and don't try to supress the coming thoughts.
🛑 Choosing the environment is also very important as Environment is more powerful than your will power.
🛑The final three key words are patient, practice, and perseverance.
Meditation can be a powerful tool for reducing stress, improving focus and overall well-being. It's easy to get started and can be done by anyone. Remember to be patient and consistent in your practice, and you'll soon be reaping the benefits of meditation.
