RAJA YOGA...

  Raja yoga deals entirely with the mind and phychic power and may be called the science of applied psychology. It aims to remove all mental obstructions and to gain a perfectly controlled, healthy mind. The main purpose of its training is to develop and strengthen the will as well as the power of concentration and to lead the seeker after truth through the path of concentration and meditation to the ultimate god of all religions.  As the name'Raja' i.e. royal and regarded as the king among others yogas. It is because the power of concentration and willpower are not only greater than any physical force,but are essential to the acquisition of all other powers. HATHA YOGA .. In a simple way

   Hatha yoga is one of the branch of science of yoga which teaches various aspects as; 1. How to conquer hunger,thirist,and sleep. 2. How to overcome the effects of heat and cold. 3. How to gain perfect health and cure disease without using drugs. 4. How to arrest the untimely decay of the body resulting from the waste of vital energy. 5. How to preserve youth even at the age of one hundred without having a single hair turn grey. 6. How to prolong life in this body for an indefinite period.    In western language it can be said, the modern day physical activities are the modified form of ancient Hatha yoga. WHAT IS YOGA.

 " SARVA-CHINTA PARITYAGA NISCHINTA YOGA UCCHYATE"-- PATANJALI    Yoga is a Sanskrit word commonly used to signify the practical side of religion;and the first concern of the training for which it stands,our moral and physical nature,upon which depend the attainment of perfect health and of moral and spiritual perfection.   The word YOGA literally means,' addition'(+). It gives a feeling of the complete oneness ( when the tiny soul ( jivatma) mix-up with the omnipresent supreme soul ( paramatma). BHARTIYA DARSAN.....( DIFFERENT SCHOOLS OF INDIAN PHILOSOPHY)

  Indian philosophy is not only just a theoretical knowledge but a practical one. Without wasting much time let's get directly started the various schools of Indian philosophy.   First of all I want to pay my heartly homage to those greats sadhus, Rishis of this holy land ( india i.e Bharat) for their great knowledge and wisdom which are the eternal gifts towards the mankind.   As I mentioned in the previous post that Brahman (ultimate reality) is the central theme of the philosophy and on that basis all the philosophical ideas gradually developed. on that basis Bhartiya darsan is also divided mainly into two parts,1. INDIAN PHILOSOPHY..a brief overview

  Indian philosophy is regarded as one of the world's oldest philosophy and it is practical in nature. It is the way of life to realize the ultimate reality. The core teaching of Indian philosophy is to leberate the soul ( Atman) from this cycle of birth and death ( SAMSARA). The Indian philosophy is founded on the principal of karma . It throws light on the concept like purusharth, parmarth, Dharma, nishkama karma etc . #purusharth- it is the way of life . It is an art of living. The term'purusharth' means the goal or the end that every human being ought to seek. It  contains four items- Dharma,Artha,Kama, moksha. Man is a rational, social,moral and spiritual being. His needs are to be satisfied. Good life consists in the pursuit of four supreme ends, namely Dharma (virtue),Artha (wealth),Kama (desire),and Moksha (liberation).   Philosophy is the methodical work of thoughts. It is an art of life. It tries to understand the meaning and the value of life. Philosophy is itself a mysterious topic to deal as it contains the series of endless questions. It is an attempt to understand the ultimate Reality. Philosophy is the study of principles which underlie all knowledge. Philosophy tries to discover ultimate truth. It is an attempt of rational interpretation and unification of all our experiences. It tries to give a rational picture of the whole universe. The word philosophy is derived from the Greek word 'philosophia' which means striving after wisdom. So philosophy is love of knowledge and philosopher is a person who seeks knowledge.    Every individual has his philosophy about his life and every Rashtra ( nation) also has their philosophy .
